Pre-Kindergarten Dress Code
All clothing must be managed by the child. For
this reason, it is recommended that children wear elastic waist
pants or shorts. Please dress your child in comfortable play
clothes. The children do go outside almost every day and should
be dressed accordingly. Dresses and skirts must be worn with
shorts underneath and are not as easy to play in on the
playground. These children do a lot of climbing, etc., so shoes
need to be rubber soled, tie or Velcro, with no lights, no
buckles, no sandals, and no boots. Please do not send
accessories to school with your pre-kindergarten child such as
jewelry, purses, combs, money, or toys. St. John the Apostle
Catholic School will not be responsible for lost articles.
Accidents and spills happen, so please send an extra set of
clothes in your child’s backpack. The student’s name should be
on all garments with permanent ink or name tags.
