Remember to bring can goods for Mass on Friday mornings!

Stewardship Masses

These are parish weekend masses where the school students are invited to come in full dress uniform and help with the gifts, ushering, greeting parishioners, etc.  This provides a visible school presence for a parish mass and lets the students give of their time for stewardship to the parish.

Service Awards

Throughout the year, from August to April, students are asked to bring items, primarily non-perishable foods, to fill the Church Food Pantry for the underprivileged.  These items are usually brought on Friday to the school mass.  Each month we recognize the classroom that donates the most pantry goods by awarding the Service Award banner that is displayed in the classroom for the entire month.

In addition to the banner, the Home & School also sponsors a drawing each month.  Eligibility for the drawing is met when students bring in canned goods or required supplies for the Food Pantry.  The drawing is separate from the banner award for the most items brought in a classroom, so it is possible for a different class to win the drawing.  The winning classroom gets small prizes as thanks for their support of the Food Pantry.
