What is the Annual Fund?
The mission of St. John the Apostle Catholic School is to provide a high quality, Catholic education that promotes the development of the whole child. Our principal and the school administration did an excellent job controlling costs last year and budgeting for this year. However, tuition and fees only cover 78% of the expenses. While parish support, diocesan support and fundraising helps to cover the difference, it is still not enough. This year the difference between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student is approximately $1,500 per child.
What has the money raised through Annual Fund purchased:
Everyone is asked to participate in closing the gap. We ask that everyone give what they can, and remember that no gift is too large or too small. Consider the following levels in order to make your decision of how much to give:
Platinum - $2501-5000+
Gold - $1001-2500
Silver - $501-1000
Bronze - $101-500
Blue/White - $1-100

What has the money raised through Annual Fund purchased:
- Replaced 14 HVAC units for our cafeteria, office, and 14 classrooms
- Provided new teacher desks and white boards in the new building
- Provided tuition assistance for 112 qualified students who applied
