St. John the Apostle Catholic School has found many ways to help support the school financially. Most of them are easy to do and don't even require extra money out of your pocket. Below are details for each of the programs you can participate in with links to specific sites to get started.

SCRIP
Buy gift cards for many of your favorite retailers, restaurants, grocery stores and more through SCRIP and the vendor will give a certain percentage back - anywhere from 2% to 17%. The gift card only costs the face value of the card and we all benefit - SJS will get half the percentage back and you get the other half applied directly to your tuition!
SCRIP isn't just limited to the parents of our students; anyone can purchase gift cards and choose the SJS family they'd like to support. Many families use SCRIP for all their purchases.

Register with Retailers
When making regular purchases with the retailers listed below - you can donate proceeds of your purchase to SJS:
Obtain a Community Card from the school office, then simply present the card to your cashier upon checkout. Albertsons will donate up to 3% of your total monthly purchases to SJS.
Link your Tom Thumb Reward Card to SJS #2912 . Use your card with each purchase and Tom Thumb pays SJS 1% of aggregate sales quarterly. 
Designate SJS on your Target charge card and SJS will receive 1% of your Target purchases. Our school ID is 16239.
Each time you make a purchase at Office Depot, show the cashier your Office Depot card or give them the SJS ID #70099686. Office Depot will tally all SJS purchases and issue SJS a 5% credit. SJS can use this credit for FREE supplies!SJS Dinner Night Out
Several nights throughout the school year, families can eat out and a percentage of their purchase will be donated to SJS. Restaurants include Chic-Fil-A, Red Robin, CiCi's and McDonald's. Check the calendar and the News and Notes for upcoming dates!
Box Tops
Just tear off the General Mill & Yoplait symbol from specially marked boxes. Students may turn the Box Tops in to their homeroom teacher. SJS redeems Box Tops for $.10 each!eBoxTops credit
What are eBoxTops? This is another everyday way to support SJS. eBoxTops, like physical Box Tops, are worth 10¢ each for SJS. However, instead of clipping these Box Tops and sending them in to our school, eBoxTops are awarded electronically to our school earnings.
How can I earn eBoxTops? Go to www.btfe.com and register. Once registered you can earn points for SJS by making purchases through the site or by simply completing an online activity, such as watching a video or answering a survey for participating retailers.
Campbell's Labels
Save Campbell’s soup & product labels. Students may turn the labels in to their homeroom teacher.Recycling
You may recycle newspaper, magazines, shopping catalogs, mail, office paper, computer, posters, folders, fax paper & envelopes with & without windows. Profit is based on weight. The Knights have two recycling dumpsters (one in the church parking lot and one by the Formation Center office).
Cell Phones
Donate old or unused cell phones to SJS and SJS receives store credit from Staples to use for office supplies! Please be sure to include the batteries! Without batteries, SJS will not receive the credit.
Cartridge Donations
Please donate your used toner cartridges and ink cartridges. SJS receives store credit from Staples to use for office supplies! These can be delivered to the office.
