   Cheerleading                        Back to Athletics

The SJS cheerleaders will holding a Eaglette workshop for the 1st-5th grade girls on Saturday, January 22, 2011.
The workshop will take place in the gym and assembly room from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  At the workshop the girls will be taught a few cheers and dance numbers by the cheerleaders. They will perform these cheers and dance for the school and parents at the pep assembly on Thursday, February 3rd during Catholic School Week.
 

The 1st-3rd grade girls are called the Eaglettes and the 4th & 5th graders are called the Golden Eaglettes. They will be taught the cheers and dance by the cheerleaders and supervised under the direction of cheerleading sponsors (Mrs. Witkowski and Mrs. Mercer). 

 

If you would like to help on that day, please let us know. The cost of the workshop is $20.00. The girls will get a snack, lunch and a t-shirt.

 

We will send home a registration form to you on Monday Jan. 4th.  Please return filled out and signed form with payment of $20.00 by Friday January 8th. Remember to select size for t-shirt order. They will wear their t-shirt at pep assembly for their performance.  They can wear this shirt on spirit days also during the school year.

This is always a fun time and a learning experience for the girls .  We hope that your child will be able to join us.
