Boots ‘N
Bowties Auction and Gold Rush Ball Update
This is SJS’s largest
fundraiser. This year, our auction will be help on Saturday, November 10.
*50/50 Scrip Raffle Tickets are on
sale. A letter along with one book of tickets was sent home in the
October 4 Family Folder.
We are asking that every family help
sell one book of six. The tickets are $5 each or $25
for the book of six. If every family sells/buys one
book, that would make the split with the school and the raffle winner of
$3,000 each in scrip! Now, how many of you
would like to have an extra $3,000 in scrip just in time for Christmas?
But wait!
If each family would sell/buy two books each for $50, the total the raffle
winner would receive would be doubled! Now, an extra $6,000 in scrip would
be real nice. Now, we can’t guarantee that amount, but
it is possible – if every family participates. The
amount is up to the families. Just be aware that
whatever the final amount is collected, the winner will receive 50 percent
in Scrip Gift Certificates.
There’s more! Any
family/student that sells three or more books of raffle tickets and turns
in completed tickets and money before October 31, 2007, will receive an
OOU Day on Monday, November 19, 2007.
Additional incentives will be
awarded to the family/student for the Top Three Raffle Ticket Sales
received before October 31, 2007. The winners will
receive:
1st Prize – Four 2008 Season passes to Six Flags
(good for all Six Flags locations including the Indoor Water Park, The
Great Escape in Queensbury, New
York, and La Ronde in
Montréal).
2nd Prize - $50 gift
certificate to Incredible Pizza
3rd Prize - $25 gift card
to Blockbuster
In the event of a tie, the winner
will be determined by a drawing. The winners will be announced at the Pep
Rally on November 8, 2007.
This is the best Raffle ever!
All money and completed raffle tickets need to be sent in by
October 31. 2007, to be considered for the Top Sales award and OOU.
